JL Releases “Alon” Before His K-Pop Debut

JL Gaspar, the talented artist formerly of the P-Pop group PLUUS, is proud to announce the release of his newest single "Alon" scheduled to drop on June 6, 2025. "Alon," recorded in 2024 while JL was still in the Philippines and before auditioning for Universe League, captures the feeling of drowning in love and the painful uncertainty that often accompanies it: “Ako’y nalulunod, hindi makaahon. Sabihin mo kung ano ba talaga kasi. Ano bang meron sa’tin, na hindi mo masabi? Kailan ko malalaman, kung nalulunod ka na rin sa akin?”

JL may be entering a new chapter with the debut of his new K-Pop group, but in the meantime his single as a solo artist is here for us to enjoy.

Released under Universal Records, you can start streaming “Alon” on all major streaming platforms starting June 6, and watch out for its music video coming out soon.

Exciting New Band It All Started In May Is The One To Watch After Release Of Debut Single “O’ Kay Tamis”

It All Started In May (IASIM) is truly the one to watch after the release of their debut single “O’ Kay Tamis” under Universal Records last May 23, 2025. The track made it to not just the New Music Friday playlist of Spotify Philippines, but also to the Fresh Finds Philippines playlist — even being featured on the cover!

This is definitely a rare achievement for a new band — a new band that just launched their Spotify account the same day they released their first-ever single, a new band that was formed exactly just a year ago, a new band that was just scouted and signed by the record label early this year.

This milestone reflects the unwavering support of their quickly-growing fanbase, the band's distinctive sound and style, and, most importantly, the exceptional quality of the song itself.

From iTunes PH to PBB to TikTok, David Licauco’s “I Think I Love You” Makes an Impression

There is no stopping David Licauco. Apart from being a popular actor, in-demand endorser, and successful entrepreneur, he is now also a recording artist signed under Universal Records, who just released the song “I Think I Love You.”

Written by Luke April Isnani and Ivo Impreso, “I Think I Love You” is a catchy and upbeat song about realizing that you’re developing strong emotions for someone — something that a lot of people can relate to.

Last May 15, a few minutes before the drop of his single, David went live on his TikTok account for a single salubong while he was in Lujo Bar in Poblacion. At the strike of midnight, he celebrated with his fans online and was surprised when the DJ at Lujo suddenly played “I Think I Love You.”

Before the song was even released, it was actually featured in Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition. Multi-platinum seven-time GRAMMY® nominee GIVĒON continues his sophomore chapter with the release of his new single and video, “Rather Be.” The new single and its Loris Russier-directed music video are available now.

“Rather Be” is GIVĒON at his most comfortable: vulnerable, confident and unafraid to let his vocal range do some heavy lifting. The ballad is produced by Sevn Thomas, Maneesh, Matthew Burnett, jeff gitty and jahaan sweet and incorporates the bells and whistles fans have come to love from the Long Beach native, from the horns peppered throughout its instrumental to the intimacy and dashing fashion of its music video. Following the release of the cathartic lead single from his new campaign, “Twenties,” GIVĒON is generating impressive momentum, and pouring his heart into each lyric along the way.

The Russier-directed cut is an elegant montage of GIVĒON and his sleek troupe adorning airy spaces with a live rendition of the new song, as GIVĒON, the protagonist, tries to get comfortable with his love interest. Russier deftly plays with planes of space and symmetry to create a unique backdrop for the singer and his suit-clad crew.

What Happens When Men Are Locked Down for Women's Protection?

Dystopian Crime Thriller ‘Curfew' on Lionsgate Play Asks the Tough Questions About Gender and Safety

Under a strict male curfew, a brutal murder shatters the fragile peace in the world of TV series 'Curfew' that is set to premiere on Lionsgate Play this 16th May.

Imagine a world where men are bound by a curfew at night for the supposed safety of women and girls. Would it be a better place? Welcome to the unsettling dystopia of Curfew, a crime thriller that dares to ask: Can safety be legislated by restricting an entire male population?

In Curfew, the Women’s Safety Act subjects men to a nightly 7 PM to 7 AM curfew, all while ankle trackers constantly surveil them. What looks like an impenetrable system is shattered when a woman is found brutally murdered outside a Women’s Safety Center. Veteran investigator Pamela Green (Sarah Parish) is immediately suspicious. Despite the curfew's airtight system, Pamela is convinced a man is the culprit. Alongside male rookie cop Eddie (Mitchell Robertson), Pamela navigates skepticism and mounting pressure as she hunts for a killer who, by all accounts, shouldn't exist.

Multi-platinum artist James Arthur releases new album PISCES

Following the massive success of his chart-topping album Bitter Sweet Love, James Arthur returns with his most personal project to date: PISCES – out now.

With PISCES, James takes listeners on a deeply emotional journey. Building on the raw honesty of his November 2024 single “ADHD,” the album showcases a more experimental, atmospheric sound while staying true to his signature vulnerability and emotional depth.

As the title suggests, PISCES is heavily inspired by James’ astrological identity. The songs reflect the duality of the Pisces personality – introspective, sensitive, and dreamy. “I’m a Pisces, and I’ve always resonated with those traits. Each track on this album is a part of me, a building block of who I am. PISCES just felt like the natural title to bring everything together,” James explains.
