A24’s Highest-Grossing Horror Film Yet, 'Talk to Me,' is Now Streaming on Lionsgate Play

Dare to unearth terror? Dive into A24’s highest-grossing horror film “Talk To Me,” where a game with the supernatural takes a terrifying turn.

What would you do if you could communicate with the other side? This is the premise of Talk to Me, A24’s highest-grossing horror film to date.

Directed by Australian twin filmmakers Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou, Talk to Me has been praised for its innovative storyline and spine-chilling scares. Set in suburban Adelaide, Talk to Me introduces us to a group of friends who stumble upon an addictive and dangerous new game. Using an embalmed hand, they discover they can conjure spirits, and what starts as an exhilarating foray into the supernatural quickly spirals into a terrifying ordeal.

At the center of this chilling narrative is Mia, portrayed by the incredibly talented Sophie Wilde (whose performance in the film got her a Critics' Choice Award, among many other distinctions). A teenager grappling with the suicide of her mother, Mia is both a social outcast and the life of the party, often taking things too far as she tries to cope with her grief.

Brian Godlock (Joel Kinnaman), the child’s father, immediately hunts down and successfully locates a handful of the culprits. However, his confrontation with the gang leader, Playa (Harold Torres), leaves him severely wounded and on the brink of death.

Brian survives, but he loses the ability to speak, along with his will to live. This burdens his wife, Saya (Catalina Sandino), who struggles to tend to her husband’s despair while also grieving the loss of her son on her own terms. When she finally gives up and decides to leave their home, Brian finds the motivation he needs to keep going: vengeance.

Step Back Into the Ring as Wrestling Drama Heels Season 2 heads to Lionsgate Play this September 22

Alexander Ludwig and Stephen Amell reprise their roles in critically acclaimed drama Heels Season 2, exclusively available in the Philippines on Lionsgate Play.

Packed with ferocious passion for wrestling and compelling family drama, Heels Season 2 brings audiences back to its close-knit Duffy, Georgia community. Starring Stephen Amell (“Arrow”) and Alexander Ludwig (“Vikings”),"Heels" follows a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals, Jack Spade (Amell) and Ace Spade (Ludwig), are at war over their late father’s legacy while working to find their identity and their individual versions of success. “Heel” is a common wrestling term used to describe the antagonist or villain in the ring, however, the line between hero and heel is much less clear for this sibling rivalry outside of the ring.

Season two begins after a spectacular showing at the South Georgia State Fair, and the Duffy Wrestling League’s popularity is suddenly on the upswing. Hoping to seize the opportunity, Jack and his cohorts prepare for a possible business deal with a new streaming service that may propel them onto a national stage. But the past and its tragedies threaten to upset everything when Ace leaves Duffy and the Dome in his rearview, meanwhile rival promotion Florida Wrestling Dystopia’s vengeful frontman Gully comes calling.

Critically-acclaimed sports drama Heels Season 2 is a must-watch that will keep the audience (both wrestling fans and casual viewers) hooked to the very end.

Press play on the intense drama both on and off the ring with Heels Season 2 premiering on Lionsgate Play on September 22.
