Mezzaluna drops Bond-inspired song “I Beg”

Sony Music's OFFMUTE artist, Mezzaluna, is back with her second single, “I Beg.”

Following the success of her debut single, “In Situ,” the 20-year-old Indonesian singer-songwriter offers us another peek into her personal life with her signature storytelling style.

"I wrote this song based on a personal experience that I went through back in high school,” the alt-pop artist shares. “I was really in my feelings and made this song in about 10 minutes. The song was initially really short, but the bridge came along later, and I'm really proud of how it turned out."

SEB shares new music “fuck it, im the man” out now on Mom + Pop

LA-based artist SEB has shared “fuck it, im the man” (via Mom+Pop), on which the nascent pop artist evokes a home-fi spin on the 80’s Quincy Jones sound. The song follows last year’s “god of the sunsets” single and the IT’S OKAY, WE’RE DREAMING EP, dual manifestations of his genre-eschewing sound that owes as much to Joni Mitchell as to Tyler the Creator (and the latter of which featured his breakthrough hit “seaside_demo”). His diverse influences serve as a reflection of his varied background, coming up in Chicago after hopping between New York, Haiti, Oklahoma, and Miami, before making the move to LA to focus on his music career.

Eddie Benjamin delivers message of optimism during troubling times on new single “Weatherman”

The music video highlights the rising star’s whimsical nature and love of all things classic

Australian singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Eddie Benjamin introduces his upcoming debut album with new single, “Weatherman,” out today via Vol. 1 Records/Epic Records.

A defiant call for optimism in troubling times, the promising newcomer imbues his message of hope with old-school soul and irresistible pop hooks.

Over lilting keys, Eddie begins “Weatherman” with a plea for brighter days. “Go tell the weatherman I said, I want it sunny outside today,” he sings.

While the tone is uplifting, Eddie penned the song while battling anxiety. “I felt out of control and didn’t know what to do,” the 20-year -old artist tells Rolling Stone. “I couldn’t help how I felt, and it summed up all these extremities in a really vulnerable way. You’re talking to yourself, asking for a sunny day.”

Sunflower Bean Announce New Album "Headful Of Sugar" Out May 6th On MOM + POP

New York trio Sunflower Bean—vocalist and bassist Julia Cumming (she/her), guitarist and vocalist Nick Kivlen (he/him), and drummer Olive Faber (she/they)—released their sophomore album Twentytwo in Blue in 2018, which skyrocketed to the UK’s Top 40, and quickly followed it with 2019’s King of the Dudes EP, which saw the band’s Triple A debut with “Come For Me.” Now, three years later, the band returns with their long-awaited third studio album. Headful of Sugar will be released on May 6th via Mom + Pop, and follows Sunflower Bean navigating the agony and ecstasy of contemporary American life.  “Tomorrow is not promised, no tour is promised, no popularity is promised, no health or money is promised,” bassist/vocalist Julia Cumming says. “Why not make what you want to make on your own terms? Why not make a record that makes you want to dance? Why not make a record that makes you want to scream?” A psychedelic headrush designed to be played loud with the windows down, Headful of Sugar features songwriting collaborations with the likes of Shamir, Suzy Shinn and Jacob Portrait (who also produced, mixed and co-engineered the record with Faber).
