Franz Ferdinand share video for ‘Curious’, the latest track from ‘Hits To The Head’, their 20-track greatest hits album

Franz Ferdinand have shared the video for Curious, a brand-new recording featured on Hits To The Head, their 20-track greatest hits collection which is released on Friday March 11th 2022 on Domino.

Having previously shared Billy Goodbye, the other new track from the compilation, Curious was also produced by Alex Kapranos, Julian Corrie and Stuart Price (Dua Lipa, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys) and is accompanied by a video directed by Andy Knowles.

Talking about the track, Alex Kapranos said:

What’s the meaning behind the song? A meet-cute on the first page as tension enters left on a dark stage, but as our stars collide I’m curious: will you want me when you’ve got me? I’m a future seeker. Are we the future? I’m curious. I had this idea for the lyric - kind of the reverse of one of those life flashing before your mind as you die in a film scenes, where the entire course of a relationship flashes before you the instant you fall in love with someone.

Rising singer-songwriter liesl-mae is ready to conquer the Asian region with debut single “Headspace”

OFFMUTE, Sony Music Entertainment’s new Southeast Asian label, is excited to put the promising new talent on the global map

After delivering an impressive rendition of Ben&Ben’s anthemic rock single “Lunod,” up-and-coming songbird liesl-mae is ready to conquer the international music arena with the release of her original song entitled “Headspace.”

With two previously-released singles under her belt, “Headspace” marks her official debut as a soulful pop singer-songwriter with a knack for ethereal melodies and soaring vocals. The single is one of the first original songs that the Kuala Lumpur-based artist has ever written, noting that she penned “Headspace” in the beginning of 2020 when she found herself at a point in her life where she was feeling weighed down and overwhelmed.

DVBBS, Galantis, and Cody Simpson Join Forces on Emotive Single "When The Lights Go Down." Out Now on Ultra Records

In a true blend of forces, DVBBS and Galantis team up for their new single "When The Lights Go Down," enlisting famed Australian singer/songwriter and musician Cody Simpson. Opening with organic instrumentals, the track incorporates both artists' signature sounds with Cody's soulful vocals and groovy, upbeat melodies for a fusion of pop and dance, which hits right in the feels. The collaboration between DVBBS and Simpson has actually been a long time coming as they already had a song together years ago and even performed it live at Ultra Music Festival, which unfortunately never came out. The story comes full circle to finish it together with Galantis, who turn into gold everything they touch. "When The Lights Go Down" follows DVBBS's 3rd studio album "SLEEP" as well as "Body Mind Sound" single with Benny Benassi, while Galantis ride the wave of "Sweet Talker" with Years & Years and "Alien" with Lucas & Steve and ILIRA. Cody Simpson is currently gearing up for his first album release in 7 years and its lead single "Nice to Meet You."
