ABS-CBN TFC releases new content for the enjoyment of overseas Filipinos, including those who are based across the Asia Pacific... and there is more to come! Early in the fourth quarter, TFC introduced the latest batch of Pinay beauty queens, best-loved 90s OPM (Original Pilipino Music), and all-new projects from favorite Kapamilya stars led by box office stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.
Digital Movie Series “The House Arrest of Us”
Among the new content is the first Star Cinema digital movie series and KathNiel’s comeback project, “The House Arrest of Us,” which proves to be highly anticipated with its teaser garnering at least 3.67 million views on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter 48 hours since upload. The pilot episode has likewise trended on Twitter on its premiere last October 24.
The romance comedy will see Q (Bernardo) and Korics (Padilla) toughen it out through their engagement, opposing family opinions, and being on total hard lockdown during the pandemic. The 13-episode weekly digital movie series is now available worldwide on iWantTFC (iwanttfc.com), TFC IPTV, and KTx.ph until January 16, 2021.
During the media conference for the show, select TFC Asia Pacific media partners were able to join and meet Kathryn and Daniel, and the rest of the cast which includes seasoned stars Herbert Bautista, Ruffa Gutierrez, Gardo Versoza, Arlene Mulach, Dennis Padilla, and Hyubs Azarcon, and young talents Alora Samsam, Riva Quenery, and Anthony Jennings.
As most members of the cast hope to visit Japan once the Covid-19 pandemic is over, Kathryn and Daniel gave a message of hope to the overseas Filipinos, especially those who are away from their families. Kathryn, who got the chance to mingle with some overseas Filipinos in Hong Kong while shooting the film “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” tells them: “Huwag kalimutang alagaan ang sarili. Sana mapasaya kayo ng project na ito. Maraming Salamat dahil hanggang ngayon ay ramdam na ramdam namin yung suporta ng mga Kapamilya natin sa iba’t ibang bansa specifically in Hong Kong (Never forget to take care of yourself. We hope this project will cheer you up. Our deepest thanks for your support from all over the world, especially in Hong Kong.).” While Daniel adds: “Kayo ang tunay na mga idol namin (You are our real idols).”
