Sharon Cuneta, John Arcilla And Erik Matti Join Forces For Epic Horror Movie "Kwaresma" Produced By Reality Entertainment And Globe Studios

Reality Entertainment and Globe Studios collaborates to produce its initial partnership to present the biggest and the scariest horror movie of the year, "Kuwaresma." 

Sharon Cuneta, John Arcilla and multi-awarded writer-director Erik Matti join forces to bring to the silver screen a horror movie of epic proportions, "Kuwaresma," presented by Reality Entertainment and Globe Studios.

"Kuwaresma" is Sharon's first all-out horror movie after being recognized as an award- winning dramatic actress.

"The People's Queen" debuts on iflix

After making the headlines in 2018 with some of its own pageant hopefuls winning in international beauty contests, The People’s Queen has debuted this April on Southeast Asia’s leading streaming platform, iflix. 

The People’s Queen has been called a cross between Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and America’s Next Top Model. The show follows media celebrities Cecilio Asuncion and Voltaire Tayag as they challenge five of the top Filipino pageant hopefuls in their quests for international titles. In the show, Cecilio and Voltaire are not simply shaping the perfect beauty queen; they’re creating The People’s Queen.

The five pageant hopefuls in The People’s Queen are Nikita McElroy, a biracial beauty confronting her bullied past; Katrina Dimaranan, who spent years focusing on the needs of her immigrant family and may have missed her chance for an international crown; 15-year-old Jenny Levy, a pageant newbie who may be too rough around the edges; overly shy Michelle Thorlund who must break out of her shell if she hopes to compete at the Miss Philippines pageant; and Katarina Rodriguez, a runner-up on Asia’s Next Top Model and former Miss Intercontinental Philippines.

Samantala, maituturing ngang isa sa pinakapinag-usapang serye ang “Halik” na hinahangaan din ng marami dahil sa mga aral na hatid ng bawat karakter. Kinabiliban si Lino dahil sa kaniyang dedikasyong gawin ang tama at maging ama para sa kaniyang anak. Nagpakita naman ng katapangan si Jacky at pinatunayang kaya rin ng mga babaeng ipaglaban ang kanilang sarili.

Bagama’t masama sa tingin ng iba, nagpakita ng katatgan si Jade bilang isang ina na handang isakripisyo ang sarili para sa kaniyang anak. Ang buhay naman ni Ace ang patunay na may kapalit ang lahat ng kasakiman at mas maiging gumawa ng kabutihan para makuha ang tunay na kaligayahan.

Bukod sa tinututukan ito sa karamihan ng mga ansa sa mundo via TFC, umabot na rin sa Africa ang kuwento nina Lino, Jade, Jacky, at Ace dahil napapanood na rin ang “Halik” sa Tanzania mula noong Pebrero.

Charity Concert Musical Soiree V Stages This April

A wonderful night is set to unfold as Roma Pradhan, the Indian singer, takes the stage once again for Musical Soiree V. This annual event is sure to be filled with great music, all while benefiting the charitable foundation Tahanan ng Pagmamahal. The event will take place from 6-8pm on April 27 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza, Makati City.

The fifth installment of her annual fundraising show promises to be even better than previous years as Roma will be performing a variety of Hindi music genres, ranging from Bollywood classics to more the modern hits of today! As per previous years, she is also known for performing a Tagalog song at each show; this year she will be singing "Tagumpay Nating Lahat," a song originally sung by award-winning international Broadway star Lea Salonga.
