Pinoy pop act raven recalls sweet, laid-back memories in new song “Sunday”

Filipino singer-songwriter/producer raven recalls his fondest moments with a lover in his new single "Sunday," out today via Sony Music Entertainment.

The balmy tune captures the essence of laid-back afternoons and countryside trips in a romantic way—a charming quality that the young artist from Balcony Entertainment has cultivated in recent years.

The bedroom pop soloist dedicates the song to his girlfriend, especially the lyrics, “o kay sarap magpalipas ng oras / lalo na kapag kasama kita (trans: time is well spent / when I’m with you).”

Matapos ang 23 taon ng pagbibigay ng kasiyahan sa bawa’t pamilyang Pilipino tuwing Linggo, bubuksan ng “ASAP” ang entablado para sa mga kwento ng pag-asa, pagmamahal, at inspirasyon ng mga Kapamilya sa buong mundo sa bagong “ASAP” na tatawaging “ASAP Natin ‘To!” simula ngayong Linggo, Nobyembre 18.

Magsisimula ang kwentong Kapamilya sa magkasintahan mula sa Surigao na naantala ang pagpapakasal dahil sa malubhang aksidente. Kapupulutan ng inspirasyon ang patuloy na pagmamahalan nila sa kabila ng malaking dagok sa buhay, kung kaya’t tutulungan ng “ASAP Natin ‘To!” na matupad ang pangarap nilang magpakasal na gaganapin “on air” at live. Kasamang makikibahagi sa kasiyahan ang “ASAP Natin ‘To!” stars na sina Gary Valenciano, Piolo Pascual, Sarah Geronimo, Daniel Padilla, Ogie Alcasid, Moira, Luis Manzano, Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, at iba pang “ASAP Natin ‘To!” Kapamilya stars.

Drew Arellano and Boobay goes "Choco Loco" in AHA!

It's Christmas time once again and it's a perfect season to enjoy the sweet taste of chocolates without an ounce of guilt.  Chocolates are a common gift item during Christmas and so kapuso host Drew Arellano and commedienne Boobay the Lakwatsera are preparing a boxful of suprises about the all-time favorite comfort food -- chocolate -- in this Sunday's episode of AHA!, an infotainment program which airs on GMA-7.

Drew and Boobay will find out the history of chocolate, how and where it was discovered and how it travelled around the world to conquer the taste buds of mankind.  Boobay will unravel the secret of cacao and the processes it goes through as it transforms from roasted seed to the chocolate that melts in our mouth.  And by the way, did you know that chocolates are also used in make-ups, shoes, spas etc.?

X Factor Analysis TOP 8!

I love singing competitions, and X factor is one of those that give way to many great singer/s. At first, I don't noticed the show, but since I get to see it on weekends makes me hooked into it. I came across the post of Kuya Carlo Yanesa, who is a music expert and a great singer himself as I can declare, I like to feature his two cents about his analysis on each of their performance.

Don't worry, I've asked for permission for this. And I wanted to share this because I agree with his opinions and there is also something more that we don't usually notice. Joining guest host Heart Evangelista are guest panelistas: curator at Avilon Wildlife Foundation, Inc. Noel Rafael, museum curator II, zoology division at the National Museum Virgilio Palpal-latoc, and professor at the UP Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Wild and Exotic vet specialist Dr. Lester Lopez.
