Five podcast shows join the program’s second year, building on a debut cohort that reached 1.49 million first-time users.

Spotify today announces the return of RADAR Creators Philippines, welcoming Almost Honest with Kylie Verzosa, KadaKwento Podcast, Panaghoy,  TRGGRD!, and Unsa'y Cheka sa Parlor to its cohort. From candid conversations and barkada banter to Cebuano perspectives and chilling Pinoy tales, this year’s lineup reflects the different ways Filipino creators are telling stories and bringing audiences together. Built for video, the fastest-growing format on Spotify, the cohort brings fans closer to the personalities behind the mic.

As Ben&Ben celebrates nine years of music with the release of Nine, Spotify traces the band’s journey in its The Come Up series, exploring how their songs have continued to find listeners and new meaning, across nearly a decade.

Ben&Ben’s journey offers a different perspective on success. Rather than being defined by a single milestone, it is reflected in the enduring life of their music that continues to resonate across different chapters of the band’s journey and their fans’ lives. 

Across different chapters of Ben&Ben’s Spotify journey, iconic songs continue to resonate with  listeners and find new meaning across generations. In 2017, while still a duo, they became one of six Philippine artists featured in Spotify’s Early Noise program, introducing their music to listeners looking for emerging local acts. A year later, “Kathang Isip” marked another milestone in their discovery, reaching 10 million streams and landing on the cover of Pinoy Chart-Toppers, bringing the band to a wider OPM audience. By 2020, Ben&Ben had become Spotify Philippines’ Most Streamed Artist, reflecting how early discovery had translated into a deeper fan base and wider reach.

Stray Kids to Release “After You” Music Video First on Spotify

Stray Kids will release their music video for "After You" from their latest album THIS & THAT - first on Spotify - on August 21 at 11AM KST.

Since the release of its teaser film, fans have been eagerly awaiting the full “After You” music video.  Here’s what they can look forward to in tomorrow’s drop. The video will follow an anthology of stories set across everyday spaces - portraying relatable scenarios that could belong to anyone. Each story traces an emotional arc as the members move from being stuck in a "Before You" - an emotional standstill - to rediscovering feeling through human connection and inner resolve, arriving at an "After You." As the scenes unfold, so does the warm afterglow and summer emotions of the track itself, brought to life through cinematic visuals that will draw you in with each story.

SEVENTEEN’s DxS Releases New Spotify Single

Today, Spotify announced the release of "One," an all-new Spotify Singles track performed by DxS -  SEVENTEEN’s vocal powerhouse duo comprised of DK and SEUNGKWAN.

The Spotify Singles track also serves as the new official anthem for T1, one of the most celebrated esports teams in the world.

Produced by Founder of PLEDIS Entertainment  Sung Soo Han in collaboration with Spotify, and composed by Nickko Young, d'tour and Neckwav, “One - Spotify Singles” celebrates the forces that drive competitive gaming, T1 and the fans behind them. PolyEast Records signs new artist DREI RAÑA

Drei Raña may not be the first musician who started doing covers online but this promising young singer/songwriter has his own path to conquer.  From posting acoustic covers that gained millions of views each to working on his own music, Drei Raña has more than just the perfect name for pop stardom but a talent to succeed. 

Drei took a big break of his musical career when he signed with PolyEast Records recently, joining roster of talents like Martin Nievera, Bamboo, Glaiza de Castro, TJ Monterde, Juan Miguel Severo and Sassa Dagdag. In March 2018, Drei released his first-ever single called “Ligaya”. The song was composed by Drei himself and showed his ability to write songs that connect with listener, which even gained 3M streams on Spotify.  

Spotify and Globe Telecom hail Shehyee as OPM’s next big act

Spotify, in partnership with Globe Telecom, reveals rising rap superstar Shehyee as the first winner of the Spotify Emerge programme in the Philippines.

Spotify Emerge offers unique insights into up-and-coming music talent across Asia by leveraging on Spotify’s wealth of data to identify ten emerging artists from the region, based on their virality (increase in streams and shares week on week). The winner was chosen by Spotify and Globe fans through a mixture of streams, follows and shares.

Shehyee emerged as the ultimate winner of the talent hunt, besting other nine up-and-coming OPM artists including December Avenue, Jeric Medina, Kai Honasan, Kito Romualdez, Marion Aunor, Midnight Meetings, Paolo Valenciano, Save Me Hollywood, and The Ransom Collective. He joins the ranks of previous Spotify Emerge winners, including Bastille and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
