Dive into Darkness: Lesha's 'no heart' Redefines the Pop Music Landscape

Just when you least expect it, Gen Z’s rising rockstar and femme ingenious Lesha has recently dropped another surefire ‘hit’ single entitled ‘no heart’.  Expect this new track to offer fresh spins. Of course, coming from the fearless singer/songwriter Lesha; no doubt she’s going to dish out a different kind of vibe.

“no heart” is an anthem of empowerment and resilience, where the act of dancing symbolizes the ability to move forward and embrace life with a fearless heart. It embodies the essence of danceable dark pop with its combination of catchy beats and lyrics about self- discovery, and unapologetically being oneself.

Lesha is very enthusiastic about this song's debut. She shares, “I’m really excited for this one ‘coz of how different it is from my last release GO TO HELL!!! This track is leaning more into the dark dance pop side - a genre I’m well known for.  I can’t wait to perform this song live soon!”

You can also say that no heart is quite different from her previous tracks.  For one, this is a very bouncy danceable anthem. The track that you listen to when you want to boost up your energy and confidence. Lesha has also incorporated different vocal chops into the song’s production working with her US based producer De’La and LA-based songwriter Krizia Carbonell .

Breaking The Sound Barrier With SIndikato

Before the Internet, musicians were experienced live or seen on MTV. These days, if an artist has no online presence, they might as well be invisible. Thankfully, SINDIKATO is no stranger to all these platforms. With years of video production experience that cross over generations, SINDIKATO has trained its eye for great talent. Now, they welcome a growing roster of artists.

SINDIKATO started in 2006 with a group of college buddies who shared a passion for video production. From creating short films and original content, they ventured into music videos for various local artists. Even as they gained traction with brand advertising projects, SINDIKATO continued to work with musicians.

Justine Joy Is Here!

Justine Joy is Filipino - Australian-based independent artist. Her independently produced debut album "Fly Away" is a testament of her fun and carefree spirit that soars high with her intense passion for music.  She spent her childhood years honing her talent in singing by taking a vocal coach, joining singing talent competition, and performing in numerous school plays.  In 2006, she was spotted by a dance talent scout  and persuaded her to be part of the newly formed hip hop dance crew “Gigabeatz” and went on to dance and sing with them until 2008.  Gigabeatz won and placed in the top spots in several local hip hop dance competitions such as “Looze Control” and “Groove Hills”, as well as performed at many local charity and nightclub events. In 2007, Justine was fortunate enough to dance with Gigabeatz as the front act to the acclaimed group “The Outlawz” created by the late legendary rapper Tupac Shakur on his 10th Anniversary Legacy Tour, at their Sydney show with local artists Lia Maja and Abel. Also in 2007, Justine and Gigabeatz placed 1st in the local song and dance competition “Boogie Tunez” (Justine & Gigabeatz - Boogie Tunez 2007), the first of its kind in the area.

Zero in on Pupil’s Zilch, the Band’s Most Sophisticated Release to Date

When Ely Buendia sings “The world is a place / behind this firewall” on Zilch’s scorching opener “Firewall,” it is both an invitation and a taunt: a wink-nudge suggestion that there is a plane beyond the rabbit-hole—that the practice of imagining is a reward in itself, perhaps the best reward of all—but also a show of sneer-filled discontent. In this day and age, when unthinkable things start coming to life, when fiction starts ringing like the truth, it is odd of anyone to not want to rearrange the furniture in their minds even for a bit. And Zilch, Pupil’s fourth full-length and their first with MCA Music, Inc., is charitable in imaginings both musical and lyrical.

Finished during a collaborative sabbatical of sorts—Buendia doing shows with punk-rockabilly supergroup The Oktaves, as well as booking the occasional solo revue home and elsewhere; drummer Wendell Garcia doing session work with a host of acts, even reuniting for a few gigs with Barbie’s Cradle; and, perhaps most publicly, bassist Dok Sergio and new guitarist Jerome Velasco doing a string of successful shows with the momentarily-reformed Teeth—the new record brings with it a fresh perspective on Pupil music-making.
