Liza Soberano Gives Up Darna's Stone

After so many years in pre-production, it was announced that Liza Soberano will no longer take on the role of the iconic super hero Darna. The announcement was made recently with an exclusive interview with Liza opening up about the reason why she is dropping the role.

According to her statement, she suffered finger bone fracture while shooting for "Bagani" last year which she is still recovering from it. However though a minor injury, this still hampers her from effectively doing the action scenes needed for the film.

Inaabangan na ng fans ng mga pelikula ni Direk Tonet tulad ng That Thing Called Tadhana at Never Not Love You You ang pinakabagong "masakit" na pelikula na tatak na ng batiking direktor. Matapos ang TV series nilang Bagani ay babalik muli sa big screen ang tambalang LizQuen.

The year 2018 has been marked with key milestones both in the professional and personal lives of ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel (TFC) stars Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano, known globally together as the loveteam, LizQuen.

Last January, the pair went on a holiday to Europe, visiting London, Paris and Madrid, among other major cities.  Enrique has introduced Liza to his family in Spain who welcomed her with open arms.

The LizQuen love team is one of the biggest in Pinoy showbiz today. And after a long hiatus on Primetime TV since Forevermore, there are back for a "global" teleserye called DOLCE AMORE. Premiered February 15, it was a post-valentine treat for their fans as they can see them again daily on TV. 

The story revolves on the backstory (yes, another origin plot, but we still watch them right?) of Serena (Liza) who was separated from her parent because of war. She was adopted by a rich Italian family. Enrique is Tenten who is a orphan kid who grows up to be the "jack-of-all-trades" guy to be a good provider. The two will meet in an unusual moment, and from there the magic happens.
