After conquering the Indonesian free-TV with Filipino shows “Pangako Sa’Yo” (Janjiku) and “On the Wings of Love”, ABS-CBN Global is about to bring more Filipino shows to the country with its partnership with Ninmedia Indonesia.
ABS-CBN Global, the international subsidiary of the largest Filipino media and entertainment company ABS-CBN, is bringing to Indonesia—one of the Southeast Asian countries with the largest economy today—three of its channels: The Filipino Channel (TFC), ABS-CBN Sports + Action, and Lifestyle Network.
“We are excited about this opportunity to give the Indonesian viewers a different kind of viewing experience, hoping to satisfy their diverse viewing needs,” said ABS-CBN Global Chief Operating Officer Olivia De Jesus.
The flagship brand of ABS-CBN Global, TFC, houses informative and entertaining shows. Some of the popular programs today are “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” (Brothers) which stars Coco Martin and “The General’s Daughter” with lead star Angel Locsin.
Meantime, ABS-CBN Sports and Action is the free TV sports channel of ABS-CBN. Its programs cover local and international athletic events and produce original shows that put the spotlight to different athletes and sports.
On the other hand, inspiring and empowering women to pursue their passion is the goal of the channel Lifestyle Network. Its programs cover women’s diverse interests from self-love, food, travel, and entertainment.
With this announcement, some Indonesian viewers who were fans of the previously aired ABS-CBN shows expressed their excitement. One of them is Ferizka Dewi who said, “WOW! Pinoy teleseryes her in Indonesia? Exciting! Good luck, TFC!”.
Meantime, Indonesian national Nat Widiasari, who is doing graduate studies in Manila, is glad that ABS-CBN Global channels will be available in Indonesia. “Really? It's good. I think the more ASEAN countries share their shows the closer we are to each other,” she said.
These ABS-CBN Global channels will reach even viewers at the outskirts of the country through the first and only free satellite TV platform, Ninmedia.
“With this partnership, we’re sure it can make more potential viewers in Indonesia and we hope all of Ninmedia's existing viewers will get a new experience from the three favorite channels of ABS-CBN,” said Rahadi Arsyad, CEO of Ninmedia.
Get to enjoy programs that match your interest as TFC, ABS-CBN Sports + Action, and Lifestyle Network channels can now be seen via Ninmedia.
