Rita Ora & Taika Waititi To Host "MTV EMAs" 2022

MTV today confirmed award-winning global superstar Rita Ora and Academy Award®-winning and GRAMMY Award-winning writer, director, and actor Taika Waititi will host the “MTV EMAs” 2022, taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany on Sunday, November 13th.

“We’re excited to host this year’s MTV EMAs and celebrate the best musicians and performances from around the world,” said Rita Ora and Taika Waititi. “We look forward to sharing the evening with all of these talented artists.”

Epic ONE-NIGHT only global event to premiere in Southeast Asia on June 8

SINGAPORE - May 12, 2022 - MTV has announced nominees for the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards and Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED (full list below). Fans can now vote for their favorites across 26 gender-neutral categories by visiting vote.mtv.com through May 18. Both shows will take place on Sunday, June 5 as an epic Los Angeles takeover event from Barker Hangar. In Southeast Asia, the shows will premiere on Wednesday, June 8, starting 7pm (TH, WIB) , 8pm (SG, PH) and 9pm (MY) on the MTV Asia channel.

“OASIS KNEBWORTH 1996” Concert Film Coming To MTV Asia On Nov. 19

Beginning November 19, fans can watch the film on MTV across its worldwide network in 180 countries.

The highly anticipated concert film OASIS KNEBWORTH 1996 will premiere exclusively on the MTV channel in Southeast Asia on Friday, Nov. 19 at 7pm (WIB), 8pm (SG) and 9pm (MY). The film will also be available on the Paramount+ service in the U.S., Latin America, Australia, the Nordics and Canada on Friday, Nov. 19, and in the U.K. next year.
