Prime Video Unveils All-Star Lineup for Philippines Amazon Original LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines – the latest local adaptation of the global fan-favorite comedy series

Prime Video today reveals a star-studded cast of Filipino comedic talent for its upcoming Amazon Original series LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines. This latest local adaptation of the global fan-favourite comedy series will feature ten of the Philippines’ most celebrated comedic talents: Victor Anastacio, Jayson Gainza, Pepe Herrera, Chad Kinis, Empoy Marquez, Kim Molina, Jerald Napoles, Negi, Tuesday Vargas, and Rufa Mae Quinto.

LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines will be exclusively available on Prime Video, with the first two episodes premiering on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Two new episodes will follow each subsequent week.

Fun and bedlam reigns in the kingdom of the “Kusina Kings”

TFC at the Movies kicks off the month of August with a buffet of comedic proportions in “Kusina Kings” (Kitchen Kings) which starts screening August 2 in Brunei and Papua New Guinea, August 3 in Saipan, the U.S. and Canada, and August 9 in the Middle East.

"Kusina Kings" tells the story of forever best friends Ronnie (Zanjoe Marudo) and Benjie (Empoy Marquez), who have been buddies through good times and bad. Benjie is the chef-entrepreneur, while Ronnie is a klutz in the kitchen. As their restaurant struggles to take-off, Benjie takes on the Kusina Kings Challenge where they will be competing with rival contender Gian Nyeam (Ryan Bang).

A pinch of culinary blunders, a dash of bizarre occurrences, a sprinkle of naughty humor, and a generous serving of comedic genius make a recipe for a sidesplitting, gratifying movie. This comedic masterpiece is helmed by Victor Villanueva who directed the critically-acclaimed indie film ‘Patay na si Hesus’ (Jesus is Dead).

Zanjoe at Empoy Handa Na Maging Kusina Kings

Pareho na magaling sa comedy ang mga aktor na sina Zanjoe at Empoy kahit sila ay polar opposites. Ang matipunong housemate na napatunayan ang kanyang pagiging magaling na artista sa comedy o drama ay sasabak uli para magpatawa. Si Empoy naman ay fresh pa mula sa success ng kanyang pelikula na “Kita Kita” at sa primetime na teleserye na “Since I Found You.”
