Filipino breakout band Fitterkarma announces “Aswang Sa Maynila” single launch this February

The band celebrates the release with an hour-long live set

After gaining prominence in 2025 with the viral success of “Pag-ibig Ay Kanibalismo II” and “Kalapastangan,” Filipino alt-rock band Fitterkarma starts the new year right with the launch of their upcoming new single, “Aswang Sa Maynila,” taking place at 123 Block, Mandaluyong City, on February 14, 2026.

Produced by Fitterkarma, in partnership with GNN and ONErpm, Bangungot: “Aswang Sa Maynila” Single Launch will feature an hour-long set from the band, alongside a carefully curated lineup of support acts.

“Fans can expect a very exciting lineup of artists supporting us,” frontman Joao de Leon shares in a press statement. “For our set, we’ll be playing more songs than usual, including some older tracks and unreleased material. We’re also preparing a few surprising covers, which we’re really excited to share.”

Today, Amazon MGM Studios announced that production is underway on Tomb Raider, marking the kick-off with a first-look image of Sophie Turner as Lara Croft in the new Prime Video series,Tomb Raider. 

The Prime Video series Tomb Raider is based on the iconic Tomb Raider video game franchise, which follows the adventures of world-famous archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft.

The series stars Turner as Lara Croft, alongside recently announced cast Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Martin Bobb-Semple, Jack Bannon, John Heffernan,  Bill Paterson, Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Juliette Motamed, Celia Imrie, and August Wittgenstein.

Global Stars Kim Myung Soo and Choi Bo Min Named TPBPHL Tourism Ambassadors to Strengthen Korea – PH Tourism Ties

The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines has just appointed two major Korean stars—Kim Myung Soo and Choi Bo Min—as their newest Tourism Ambassadors for Korea. It’s a bold step to strengthen the bond between the Philippines and South Korea, especially in the realm of travel. 

The official announcement took place on December 14, 2025, at Consuelo by Chef Vince Garcia, where the two artists appeared in custom creations by Filipino designer Avel Bacudio. Their outfits featured intricate embroidery inspired by iconic Filipino elements such as jeepneys, the bahay kubo, and street vendors, and were crafted from handwoven abaca, piña, silk cocoon, and inabel. More than just celebrated personalities, Kim Myung Soo and Choi Bo Min are now officially partners of TPBPHL, with a shared mission to inspire more Korean travelers to visit and explore the Philippines.

Thai artist James Alyn (former 1/2 of HYBS) and London-based pop band PREP team up for the heartfelt new single “Don’t Worry.” With PREP’s smooth blend of soft pop, funk, and soul, paired with James’ warm, emotional tone, they complement each other to create a sound that feels both intimate and timeless, offering comfort and hope.
