Mikly Chance Recast "Tainted Love" As Paranoid Fantasy In New Video Out Today

Milky Chance - the 5+ billion-streaming German duo currently enjoying a Top 5 hit at US Alternative Radio with “Colorado” - have shared the official video for their cover of the Gloria Jones song (later popularized by Soft Cell) “Tainted Love.” Featured on the group’s recent Trip Tape mixtape, the track is completely recast here as a paranoid fantasy in which Milky Chance’s Clemens Rehbein appears bloodied and bewildered (but from what?). Shot in Berlin by frequent Milky collaborators Sebastian Ganschow & Vincent Sylvain, the video adds an unsettling new chapter to a song with an already unlikely history dating back to its original release in 1964.

Milky Chance hit “Colorado” is currently #4 at Alternative Radio in the US and has over 65 million global streams. The group is currently on a US tour of some of their largest venues to date with many dates already sold out. See below for a full list of remaining shows.
