Famous Makeover Show "How Do I Look?" Comes To Asia For The First Time

Filipina fashion and TV junkies have one more reason to get excited this year as NBCUniversal International Networks brings the fashion makeover series How Do I Look? Asia. The show will be hosted by Malaysian TV personality, film actress and style icon Sazzy Falak. She will complement Jeannie Mai, host of the U.S. How Do I Look?, who will be making special appearances throughout the Asian version to mentor participants.

“I am delighted to work on such a prestigious project with NBCUniversal that combines fashion, lifestyle and entertainment. The original How Do I Look? is such a huge hit with women across the region and I am sure they will love the Asian version just as much, if not more,” said Sazzy.

Fashion is Sazzy’s forte. She is the owner, curator and designer of homegrown label, Street Fashion by Sazzy Falak, an all-in-one role which gives her a critical eye for style. The fashion boutique has been both a local and international success, with designs being showcased at the 2013 New York Fashion Week, among others. Sazzy is also one of Malaysia’s most followed celebrities on social media.

Though the show originated in the US, How Do I Look? Asia will incorporate Asian fashion influences and local Filipino style as the series is shot completely in the Philippines. Filipino celebrity stylist Liz Uy will also be part of the show as one of the stylists who will help participants who badly need a fashion fix.

How Do I Look? Asia will help fashion-challenged participants revamp their look through glamorous makeovers. Produced by NBCUniversal’s Matchbox Asia production group, the 8 x 1 hour series will premiere on August 31, Monday, on DIVA, the leading women’s entertainment channel in Asia.

DIVA airs on Channel 37 for Sky Cable, Channel 40 for Destiny, Channel 65 for Cignal and Channel32 on Cable Link.
