Spending late weekend nights at home in front of television screens is definitely now the nation’s newest weekly habit every Saturday at 10:00PM as TV5 recently introduced its first-ever love advice cum talk variety program entitled “Call Me Papa Jack”, with no less than the country’s most popular male DJ and widely-followed love guru, Papa Jack, at the helm of the show.

For those who just cannot get enough of Papa Jack, this exciting new offering of the Kapatid Network gives viewers an even more dynamic experience with him as he brings his signature humor, candid commentary and brutally frank style of evaluating countless relationship concerns to a whole new level. And this time around, select love-struck individuals are given the opportunity to talk to Papa Jack and thoroughly discuss with him their love stories via phone patch.

The program also shows a new side to Papa Jack that his followers have yet to see, as he interacts with and interviews various celebrities and personalities who, for the first time ever, will be talking about their fair share of heartaches and break-ups. Among those who are slated to be on Papa Jack’s hot seat are actress-musician-host Julia Clarete,  “Mac & Chiz” star Bianca King, teen heartthrob and current talk-of-the-town Brett Jackson, young actress Ynna Asistio, and many more. And aside from talking about their own love stories, these celebrities will likewise be on hand to help Papa Jack by giving their own pieces of advice to the program’s various lovelorn guests.

Ultimately, “Call Me Papa Jack” is geared to be every Filipino’s newest weekly guilty pleasure, what with the program’s line-up of entertaining segments that are packed with Papa Jack’s unique brand of humor as well as kilig and valuable love advice. Among these segments are Online Ligawan (a video confessional where an individual goes public with his/her feelings for another person), jamming with Papa Jack (a segment that has proven to amaze Papa Jack’s followers and other viewers as he shows his vocal prowess), and the infamous Papa Jack Quotes about love and relationships.

So whether you are single, taken, or trapped in an ‘it’s complicated’ relationship, TV5 gives Filipinos from all walks of life the best excuse to stay home on a late Saturday night with Papa Jack himself keeping you company through his new love-advice program on TV5 every 10:00PM.
