TV5 welcomes summer with new batch of WATTPAD PRESENTS stories

TV5 warmly welcomes the summer season by launching the new batch of stories to be featured on WATTPAD PRESENTS Season 2, making viewers’ hearts grow fonder as they get to know the characters and kilig stories from four more Wattpad hits. 

Since WATTPAD PRESENTS was launched last September 2014, TV5 has successfully created a new trend that broke the traditional drama offering on daily primetime TV. WATTPAD PRESENTS gave life to some of the most well-loved Wattpad characters who further endeared themselves to the viewers every night. Kapatid viewers have seen how TV5 artists and talents from the other networks have collaborated for the much-requested TV adaptations of some of the most popular Wattpad novels. Through WATTPAD PRESENTS, viewers have also grown to love the characters of Sitti and Kaizer in “My Tag Boyfriend”, Nialla and Jeffrey in “Dyepni”, Ekang and Alden in “Almost a Cinderella Story”, Alyssa and Van in “My Fiance Since Birth”, and Chelsea and her “Kamahalan Kyle” in “Mr. Popular Meets Miss Nobody”, to name a few.

Robin Padilla embraces organic lifestyle, promotes use of natural cough medicine

With Robin Padilla’s new organic lifestyle, there is no better time than now for him to be the newest brand endorser of natural cough medicine, ASCOF Lagundi. 

At first, the award-winning actor was hesitant about the project because he thought he would be endorsing a synthetic product --, something he tries to avoid because he prefers to use herbal medicines in real life. 

“‘Nung unang pinitch sa akin ‘to, sabi ko ayaw ko ng mga gamot kasi hindi ako uminom ng gamot kasi kami ni Mariel organic [living]… pero ‘nung nakita ko na organic talaga ang ASCOF Lagundi [pumayag na agad ako],” says Robin in an interview when he visited LAC Farms, one of the country’s biggest OCCP (Organic Certification Center of the Philippines), GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)-certified organic farm owned by Pascual Laboratories, the maker of ASCOF Lagundi.

I just read and heard news that Papa Jack of Love Radio 90.7 had recently resigned from the radio station and has yet to announce where he will be continue his career. On his social media accounts, it only shows a red box as a profile picture and his slot on Love Radio is replaced with replays of his past episodes.

Indefinitely, we don't know if he will continue his DJ stint. However he still has his TV show at TV5 with "Call Me Papa Jack" every Saturday. Today we could get to know more about him with a short but sweet #SlumbookSeries video for my Youtube Channel.
