Destiny Rose Blooms Into Television

GMA Network made another pioneering concept that others would hesitate to tackle, and the LGBT community is happy with this. GMAs Afternoon Prime presents Destiny Rose which stars Ken Chan playing the role of Joey Flores Vergara and soon to be the Trans Woman Destiny Rose. 

This is now considered by fans to complete the roster of shows that talks about the story of sexuality that started with My Husband's Lover (gay), followed by other shows like The Richman's Daughter (lesbian), and Dading (bisexual). This is also Ken Chan's first leading role in a telesrye which is already a challenging role for the actor.

Viewers will get excited with the transformation of Joey to Destiny in the following weeks. The pilot was well received by fans and also by people who have experienced the same predicament as transsexuals. The hashtag #DestinyRose trended on that day at the fourth spot nationwide. Young actor Migs Cuaderno plays the young Joey does an amazing job in performing for the unique character.

Destinty Rose also stars Manilyn Reynes, Joko Diaz, Katrina Halili, Fabio Ide, Jeric Gonzales, and Sheena Halili. This is part of GMA Afternoon Prime at 4:30 PM.

Bianca King files for divorce from Luis Alandy

Viewers can expect a lot of dramatic confrontations in the afternoon drama, Broken Vow, as Bianca King’s character faces the toughest and most painful decision in her life in the episodes this week. 

After Roberto (Gabby Eigenmann) uncovered the secrets of Felix (Luis Alandy), he confessed to Melissa that her husband Felix and her rapist is one and the same person. Melissa is shattered and devastated by this revelation and feels betrayed by the man to whom she entrusted her life. 

Roberto urges Melissa to file a rape case against Felix and put him behind bars for his misdeed. He even hires a lawyer to help expedite the process. But according to their lawyer, Melissa cannot file a case unless she divorces Felix in court.
