DAMASO: Isang Pagtingin Sa Kwento Noon At Ngayon

Umuulit nga ba ang Kasaysayan?
Kaya ba nating isulat muli ang nagdaan?
Babaguhin mo ba ang nakaraan?

Storya ito ng manunulat na si Fernando Damaso na isasabuhay ang kontrobersyal na karakter na sina Padre Damaso, Crisostomo Ibarra, Maria Clara, Sisa, at iba pa., sa hangaring gamitin ang paggawa ng pelikula para ipakita ang kabutihan at kasamaan sa nakalipas at kasalukuyang lipunan.

Ang DAMASO ay isang musical sa loob ng isang pelikula na sasalamin sa sitwasyon sa gobyerno ngayon ng Pilipinas at ng industriya ng paggawa ng pelikula na hindi nagkakalayo sa kung paano naabuso ang mga pinoy noong panahon ng mga Kastila sa pangunguna ng isang prayle.

Isinasalarawan rin dito ang kwentong pag-iibigan nina Crisostomo Ibarra at Maria Clara sa gitna ng kanilang pagsasakripisyo para sa kanila pamilya at sa bayan.

Papasukin din natin ang isipan ng mga karakter sa pagbuo ng isang pelikula upang makita ang kanilang totoong nararamdaman at diskarte sa dimunanong nanganganib na entertainment business.

Marlo Mortel To Make His Mother Proud With First Major Concert At The Music Museum

It has been said that there are two ways you can go with pain. You can let it detsroy you, or you can use it  as fiel to drive you. Actor, singer, and TV host Marlo Mortel has been though a lot in the last couple of years, but instead of letting pain destroy him, he used it to fuel his dreams.

On October 26, Marlo will stage ImMORTELized, his first major concert at the Music Museum. The last time he performed there , he did so with Bryan Santos, Jopeph Marco, and Michael Pangilinan - the other members of the boyband Harana.

As part of the group, Marlo had hit singles and a sold-out concert. Now that he is finally striking out on his own, he hopes his first solo outing on the local concert scene will draw a big crowd as Harana's show did. Not only he is eager to show people the full range of talents, but he also wants  to make his family proud.
