Drawing inspiration from hip hop, R&B, pop, electronic, house, and punk, Jae Laurent refuses to be confined by a single genre. Instead, each song reflects his mindset in the moment, whether it carries confidence, vulnerability, or introspection. For him, music is more than entertainment. It is a space to express the thoughts and emotions he rarely says out loud.
Raised in South Bay, Davao City after spending much of his childhood moving from one province to another, Jae Laurent's life experiences continue to shape his songwriting. His music blends English, Filipino, and Bisaya, staying true to both his roots and his identity.
