Generation G in Full Swing: Kumu partners with GlobeOne for latest live talent search

Over the month of October, fifty content creators battled it out on leading social entertainment app, Kumu, to become the final sixteen to be on Generation G: GlobeOne Creator Camp, a show produced in collaboration with GlobeOne, the app that contains everything you love about Globe—from managing your account to getting exclusive gifts and discounts.

Hosted by KC Montero, also Kumu’s VP of Content, and featuring celebrity judges Kimpoy Feliciano, Anji Salvacion, Benedix Ramos, and Eian Rances, this competition can be watched on Kumu’s own channel (@kumusocialtv on the app) and will be streaming live at 7PM PST on the following dates: November 15 and November 22, with the finale set for November 29. The first episode went live last November 8, which saw Dom Real come out victorious.

Write It, Tweak It, Star in It: Kumu and Wattpad give fans the key to Kiss Master

From the very first chapter, Jamille Fumah (@JFStories) and her hit Wattpad webnovel, Kiss Master, have had quite the journey to fame. Now, in partnership with social entertainment app Kumu, and with the help of hit-churning Philippine studio Black Sheep Productions, the digital page takes to the digital screen—with high aims and more than just a little help from the fans as production and casting go interactive in this month-long, one-of-a-kind casting campaign.

This partnership with Wattpad is a first, but not a completely unforeseen one. “We have a lot in common with Wattpad in terms of valuing the community that supports us,” says Angelo Mendez, Co-founder and Chief of Content of Kumu. “These are exciting new parameters for storytelling, and we feel this is our chance to hear new voices.” Indeed, fans will have many chances to make theirs heard—from writing opportunities and even chances to star in the new series. The Philippines’ pambansang game show “Game KNB” goes worldwide across multiple platforms, bringing Filipinos together to watch the program on TFC cable and satellite television and TFC IPTV while letting them simultaneously play the game via the streaming app Kumu on weekdays starting November 30.

“Game KNB?” allows contestants to answer trivia questions from various topics with increasing difficulty as the game progresses. With the game show’s comeback, it is made digitally interactive as contestants compete from the comfort of their homes—in different parts of the world—via the Kumu app.

The game will also be made even better by the game master, Robi Domingo, whose antics will surely bring fun to the viewers and will ease the tension from the participants of the game.
