Highly Anticipated Korean Zombie Apocalypse Series Newtopia, Starring Park Jeong-min and Blackpink’s Jisoo, Coming Exclusively to Prime Video

The series will premiere on Prime Video in the Philippines and more than 240 countries and territories on February 7, 2025

Prime Video announced today that the Korean series Newtopia will be coming to the service. Top stars Park Jeong-min and Blackpink’s Jisoo will be leading the highly anticipated zombie apocalypse series. The story centres on Lee Jae-yoon (Park Jeong-min), who is serving his compulsory military service, and his girlfriend Kang Young-joo (Jisoo), as they race to be reunited in zombie-infested Seoul. Prime Video customers in more than 240 countries and territories, excluding Korea, can watch episodes of Newtopia on February 7, 2025.

On the afternoon of June 13th, Lisa (Lalisa Manobal) uploaded a content clip through her official global short-form mobile video platform TikTok account. 

In the video, Lisa is not only showing off her stunning aura with her OOTD, but also her charming visuals, which quickly caught the attention of global fans. View the teaser here.

Additionally, she left a music sticker with the word 'TEASER' in the content's background music, and announced that the new song can be pre-saved on Spotify and Apple Music with the words 'COMING SOON' on her official website.

Lalisa Manobal (Lisa) from BLACKPINK has joined the previously announced cast, including Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Walton Goggins, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Julian Kostov, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong  and Aimee Lou Wood of the third installment of the Emmy®-winning HBO Original series The White Lotus, from Mike White. The series will begin production in and around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok in February and will follow a new group of guests at another White Lotus property.

Along with her unparalleled stage presence, she is known for her unique fashion sense and trendsetting style, making her a prominent figure in the global fashion industry. Nickelodeon today revealed nominations for the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2023, with first-time nominees including Jenna Ortega, Jack Harlow, GAYLE, Joji, Nicky Youre and Letitia Wright, among others. Stranger Things leads the pack with six nominations, followed by That Girl Lay Lay, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder with four nominations each. 

Taking place on Saturday, March 4, from the Microsoft Theater for the first time ever, Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2023 will celebrate fans’ favorites from across the worlds of film, television, music, sports and more.
